  1. There was an old house on the Bog Road. The fire place was on the left hand side of the door and turf was burned in this fire.
    The house built of stones on placed on the other. The roof was made of thatch which was made out of rushes that grew in the fields. Candles were used for giving light but they were not made in the district. Half doors are common in my district.
