- Many years ago in Termonfeckin the Protestant church spire was built. It was a wooden spire. A couple of years after it was built there was a great storm. The storm lasted for about a week. It was blowing very hard and it was snowing and raining. The storm knocked down trees and sheds. The people could not go out in the snow. The storm was so strong that it blew the spire of the church down to a lane in Termonfeckin. After the storm the people noticed that the spire was off the church and it was found in the lane in Termonfeckin.
Tradesmen were got to build a stone spire. They put a cross on the spire.
