When they would be dry they would rub tallow to them and then they would lave them to dry again. At the end of a week the rushes would be fit to use as lights.
- There are many old industries which still exist in our village. The old industries which still enist in the village are, basket-making, rug-making glove-making and whip-making.
The old industries which have died out are mat-making, straw-hat-making.
