  2. The lucky days of the week to visit a doctor for ailments are Mondays and Thursdays. it is unlucky to start ploughing on Saturday and the luck day is Mondays. The lucky day to start house building is Wednesday becuase it is said that (when) the house will not cost as much money. The lucky and unlucky days for flitting are "Friday's flitting a [?] long living. Saturday's flitting a short sitting.
    It is said if you plant crops on Sunday they will never grow. The cross day of the year was never known in the village of Termonfeckin.
    Tere is an old saying about the months of the year such as.
    "March shall shatch.
    April shall try
    May shall tell you whether you live or die."
    April and May keep far from the sea
    June and July bathe till you die
