    the horses came even with the gate they began to lep and then they broke their traces and no tale nor tidings of them could be heard for a week after. One of them was found fifteen miles away.
    One of the men, Mr. Markey, was nearly killed by a falling from the cart on to the road and he didn't get better for six months.
    The greyhounds, when they reached the gates they turned into horrible big monsters and flames and smoke coming out of their mouths. They jumped the gate and were never seen again.
