Two teams they played surrounding clubs
And oft times victory gained.
On the fifteenth day of August they met in sweet Clonfane
This game it was exciting for all the boys around
The fair sex were in thousands in Jimmy Rooneys ground
The bowling it was famous and the batting much the same
And Kilbride were defeated on the fifteenth in Clonfane
Jimmy Reynolds went for batting first
