    The makers of this song were Patrick Keegan of Moymet and Patrick Monaghan of Moymet.
    Composed about 60 yrs ago.
    Frank Murray aged 14 years got this from my father.
    An old song.
    Come all my lads and lassies come listen to my song.
    About this game of cricket of on the fifteenth did go on.
    Two teams they played surrounding clubs and oft times victory gained.
    On the fifteenth day of August, they met in sweet Glonfane.
    This game it was exciting for all the boys around.
    The fair sex were in thousands in Jimmy Gooneys ground.
    The bowling it was famous and the batting much the same.
    And Hillride were defeated on the fifteenth in Glonfane.
    Jimmy Reynolds went for batting first. He gazed out for long on.
