    Arrival of Military & R. I. C.
    Lorries arrive to search for arms etc.
    First house searched - General shop occupants - elderly woman - invalid daughers, son (Protestant family)
    Members of R. I. C. not taking part but acting as guides in district. /
    Second House: searched: Two members Black and Tans broke window pane in Teacher's residence while Teacher was in school. "Searched" quickly. No notice given to Teacher who on arrival after three o'clock missed pulloverses - shoes furs evening apparel couple of hens eggs etc.
