- Long ago the people used to have mudwalled chapels after the mass-rocks.
There was a mud walled chapel at each of these places:- Wharon, Carlanstown, Tullyhill and another at Carraig Maille. After these the beautiful chapel of Castletown was built.
The people used to bury their dead in Lickblea, Wharon and Fore graveyards.
Since Castletown Chapel was built in 18.. the people of this district go to Mass and bury their dead in Castletown - Before the Chapels were built the people were buried in Foyran, Lickblea, Regana, Fore and Kilfrea.
