  1. My townland is Ballinvally, Its parish is Delvin and its barony is Delvin also. There are nine houses and thirty eight people in it. The most common name is Leonard. Eight of the houses are slated and the other one is thatched. There are two people over seventy in it Mrs Leonard and James Irwin. They do not know Irish. They do not tell stories in Irish or English. They both have the same address Ballinvally, Delvin Co. Westmeath. It is all good land. There is one river in it and there is no story attached to it.
