- (continued from previous page)there are not many spinning wheels in the district. Black clothes are worn after the death of a relative.
- The local fairs are held in the street. Buyers come to farmers house a day or two before the fair and buy cattle and sheep there. Then they sell them at the fair and make profit on them. There are no traditions of fairs held on hills near cemeteries etc. Tolls are not paid on cattle sold in Delvin fair. Luck money is given to the buyer by the settler of the animals. Luck money is not calculated but the seller gives(continues on next page)
