   Daisies and dandelions are used for dyeing purposes.
   Herbs were used extensively for curing different diseases. We do not know of anybody who used them. Some sufferers were cured by these means.

   The most harmful weed growing at home on our farm is the robin-run-the-hedge or Ragged Robin. Robin-run-the-hedge prashia, chick-weed, lambs-qarted, thistles, ferns, nettles docks and hemlock are also to be found They are harmful because they spread all over the fields very quickly.
