There is also an old road leading from Henry Mills Johnstown to Edward McCormacks Monroe Frewin. It was made in the famine year. It is now very little used except by the land owners adjoning it. It is called the Slanebeg Portloman road. - There is a cross-roads near our house where many youths gather after mass on a Sunday and play tossing.
