- Some few years ago clogs were worn by all workers, both men and women. Some people wear them at the present time when there is snow on the ground or when the lands are flooded after rain. They are reckoned to be good for the health as the soles being made of wood are firm and dry.
The only objection to them now is the noise they make when one is walking. In nearly locality there was a man who made clogs.
