- There is only one tailor in our district. His name is Patrick Fagan.
He makes suits for men and boys. The price being for a pound to thirty shillings when supplied with all materials. He is also a merchant tailor. He makes and supplies suits from two pounds ten-shillings to six pounds.
I hear that the people say that the tailors in this district used to go from house to house making clothes. The cloth from which the clothes were made was spun and woven in a local mill which was situated in Ballymulvey. In this mill all sorts of tweeds, frizes blankets and rugs were made. In our house there are two of these rugs.
