The names of the roads around our district are, the Derryheelon road, the Kilmahon road, the Broucklaw road, and the mill road in the village of Drumlish.
The Broucklaw road leads from Derryheelon crossroads to Kilmahon crossroads. The mill road in Drumlish leads from McGoverns crossroads to the Longford road. The roads were made very long ago. The oldest one was made in the year 1684 that is the Kilmahon road.
