    It was made for relief during the famine. There are plenty of old paths and byeways in my district. Long ago before bridges were made the rivers were crossed by means of a ford. There are no heaps of stones or monuments along our road. There is one Mass pass in my district.

  2. The old people did wear boots. They started to wear boots around the beginning of the eighteenth century. The children at present go barefoot in Summer. There was six shoemakers in the district in olden times. There are four shoemakers in the district. Some of the old people wear clogs.
