    Accordingly the two men came to watch the oats and about twelve o clock a horse came out of the water and went to the water.
    One of the men lifted a sod and hit the horse with it, if he had not hit the horse she would go back to the water. The man jumped out and caught the horse and brought her home. He could not let her out and had to keep her in for fear she would run away. After a number of years one evening the man came home from a fair drunk, and as he was bringing the horse to a drink he let her out and said "Go out of that you should know this part of the land now. Then the horse ran away to the lough and never came back.
