  1. There is a very old church in Rathmacknee
    It is in the hands of the Protestants now though at one time it was the property of the Catholics.
    It is a fine old church and is in good repair
    The Protestants carry on their services in it still.
    There is a little place built out of the wall of the near-by castle - Rathmacknee - which contains the holy-water-font and some Sacred vessels from the time of Catholic ownership
    It is told, by inhabitants, that the bell of this church rings on a certain of its own accord, every year.
