  1. Riddle me, riddle me auntie o,
    My father gave me some seed to sow,
    The seed was black and the ground was white.
    Riddle me that again to-morrow night.
    Ans = pen, ink, and paper.
    A housefull, a roomfull and could not catch a spoonfull.
    Ans = smoke.
    Little thing, little thing less than a mouse, have more windows than all the king's house.
    Answer = thimble
    I went to the wood and I got it, I sat down to look for it and could not find it and brought it home with me.
    Ans = A thorn in your foot.
    Long legs, crooked toes,
    Little head and no nose.
    Ans = A tongs.
    As I went through a slippery gap,
    I met a boy in a red cap,
    He had an iron head,
    And timber toes.
    And upon my word he frightened the crows
    Ans = A gun.
    Its in the house. Its over the house, and under the house, and still its not in the house.
    Ans = A window.
