    If you hang a horse-shoe over the door it is good luck.
    If you are the first to hear the cuckoo chirping in the morning it is good luck.
    If you hear a black cat meowing in the morning you will have bad luck.
    It is unlucky to bring a peacocks feather into the house.
    If you see a cat washing her face it means a visitor to the house.
    If you drop a knife it means a lady is coming to the house.
    To walk out with a tool on your shoulder is bad luck.
