of Moate as he did roar and bawl
When William sang that old refrain, now when the
    roses bloom again
He was like a thing htat had a pain
    That night at Handy's Ball
From sweet Kilbride came Phill the boy
With a grand new pike from Ned Molloy
He did the whole house then annoy
Puffing smoke all round the wall
Say, Phill 4 Bob I cannot see
Says Ned its stamped a G.B.D.
Alright says Phill then let it be
I'll bring it to the ball
We had Flemming boy from Tinnamuck
He thought his girl had him [Fussuck]
the sweat ran off him in a mcuk just like a
water fall. But in the middle of the night
He popped his head in nice & quiet, he say my boys I
thank for night, to night at Handys Ball.
