    make out of an old spool and pare one end of it, then they put a spike down through the middle of it and so made a "Teetom Totom".
    Little boys also make a kind of a toy motor car out of a big wooden box and four wheels on it. They also put a wheel in the front of it for the steering wheel and two seats in it. This they call a "Trolly Bus".
    Girls are very fond of making chains out of daisies and Dodgy balls out of cowslips.
