    To sell eggs or fowl when you are buying a horse and to put the eggs and fowl money with the price of the horse is lucky.
    Saturday and Monday are unlucky days for buying or selling anything.
    People used to burn holes in money to see if it would come back to them any more and it often did. If shopkeepers got bad money long ago they used to nail to to the counter to show the people it was bad money.
