- There are three graveyards in this Parish. The names of them are Liss Graveyard, Boher Graveyard and Leamonahan Graveyard they are all in use still. Two of the graveyards are flat and one of them is sloped to the North. There are trees growing in Liss graveyard. There are very old tombs in Liss and Leamonahan some of them bear the date 1881 ect. In Leamonahan there are old ruins in the graveyard and St. Manchans is uspposed to be buried in them. Some people have special places for being buried. There was a graveyard in Castlearmstrong once and all the Hackets were buried there but the remains were taken and re-buried in Liss because they left this locality when the land became the property of the Land Commission.
