- There is a rath on Tutty's land. One night, three or four men went to dig for gold in this rath. When they were digging for a couple of hours they came to a big stone.
They were about to lift the stone when they heard the roaring of a bull. They got up out of the hole, and covered it back in, and the roaring stopped.
There is another rath on Dempseys' land. It is surrounded by trees, and in it are the ruins of an old castle.
One night, some men went to dig in this rath, and when they had dug down a long way a three-legged got
"ran" them.
