Sixty years ago people had only three meals daily breakfast dinner and supper.They had their breakfast about seven in the morning and dinner at three p.m and supper at nine p.m.for their breakfast was porridge and a small piece of bread, and for their dinner they got potatoes and salt and milk, and got porridge for their supper again.Often before they got their breakfast they went out and did an house work and often more. It was always buttermilk that was taken with the porridge. when they were having their breakfast or supper the pot of porridge was put in the middle of the floor and they all sat around it and all eat out of the pot with spoons
