    of the fort.
There are two forts in Kevit, and it is said that a land of fairies playing music go from one to the other regularly. Another story is told of a crock of gold, which is in a fort situated in the townland of Caughoo. A life is supposed to be lost at the getting of it, and when it was attempted to secure it a stream of water gushed forth, and the assembly of men got scared, and it was not attempted since.
