    "Wraith" which they pronounced "Wrath" For instance a person would be seen out walking through the fields or travelling along, the road used by another person. That other person might chance to visit the house of a person whom they thought they saw out in the fields a short time before and find out the said person had not left their house for some hours before. The representation which was seen was called the Wraith and the person whose Wraith was seen, (it was generally believed) would die in a short time afterwards about from six to twelve months usually. This "Wraith" differed fro a "Ghost" as it appeared both by night and day whereas a "Ghost"
