- Blackbirds, Crows, wrens, thrushes and robins are the birds commonly found in this district.
The blackbird builds in a hedge, the nest is built of moss and hay and the inside of the nest is plastered with clay.
The eggs are green in colour with a few speckled dots. The blackbird sits on the eggs for about ten days.
If the eggs are touched before the are hatched the bird will forsake the nest and build another nest.
