    This same poet made another song called "Bottle and Glass" the words of which are lost.
    A protestant minister (called swaddlers then) once challenged Fr. John O'Reilly a pastor in Castlerahan to argue religion.
    Fr John didn't accept the challenge but John O'Connell did. He dressed up as a priest, and met the minister. OConnell spoke in Irish and of course the minister knowing no Irish was easily put down. The first question OConnell put on the minister was "An bhfuil fhios ag do mháthair go bhfuil tú amuig". There was no answer from the minister and all started to laugh at
