All those blacksmiths took apprentices and taught them the trade. Tis now nearly extinct in the country. - Bernard Lynch after learning his trade in Farrell's forge went travelling looking for work. He was not long on the road when he struck up with another travelling blacksmith. They had just 2D each and on feeling hungry went into a village inn to have a bowl of soup. It only cost 2D then.
