    made with clay and some of them were even made of stones. The half doors were very common and are used very much still in the country.
    The people used plenty of turf for their fires because turf were plentiful then. The people had very little light long ago by night. They used to use rush candles and these were dipped in tallow. They also used resin splinters and dips. Candles were then made locally.
