numbers each player obtains, and if the score is 100 whoever answers at this number first wins the game.
Hire a House is another fine outdoor game, and is very often played at Picnics in the locality.
All the players again join hands and form a ring, and then dance towards each other and back again singing the following words as they do so:
    We'll hire a house,
    To steal a gig,
    That all the world,
    They have a jig,
    And We'll do all,
    That ever we can
    To help the business on.
When this verse is finished each player swings his partner on his left, singing as he does so the following: "To help the business on,
    To help the business on,
    And we'll do all,
    That we can
    To help the business on.
When this verse is sung the gentleman stands on the left hand side of his partner, and the above is repeated again, until the players get tired of the game. N.B. Every gentleman choses a partner before the game begins.
