    Niddy, noddy, round body, three legs and a wooden hat? A pot.
    Leaf upon leaf without any stitches, riddle me that and I'll buy you a pair of breeches? A cabbage.
    What never was, nor never will be, put out your hand and you will see? None of your fingers the same length.
    What opens like a barn door and shuts like a trap? A umbrella.
    What is in the house and it is neither within or without? A window.
    What goes from house to house and never goes in? A path.
    What goes round and round the house with it's pudding after? A hen with a flock of chickens.
