- (continued from previous page)is marked by a considerable quantity of stones on the hill at the rear of the house where Mr. John Fitzsimons lives in the townland of Carnalynch.
It is said he was very good at mending boots and it is believed that he made his own boots, he also spent some of his time mending the harness of his own horses, there is no account of any battle locally as no resistance was offered against his work of destruction in these parts. - At Mullagh lake near Mullagh the water turns from a clear colour to a deep green and later yellow, each Friday from 3pm to midnight, this has been seen by several persons in this locality.
