    fasting. Drinking juice of celery seed fasting would clear the Rheumatism out of the blood, and by drinking a raw egg also would increase the blood and strengthen it against Rheumatism. Another great cure for bad bones was to take home the Teamanae which grew on the rocks and boil it into oil. After it had been boiled into oil it was rubbed to the bones. The cure the old people had for boils was to mix soap with sugar and very often white bread was also mixed with it. This is still used for the same purpose. Old people had great cures for headaches as themselves though. The mot important of them was to bind a cloth tightly around the head.
