    In the olden days the people had very good cures for wounds. There was an old saying, That if you licked a lizard and anyone that got a burn if you licked the burn you could cure the burn.
    When a child would have the whooping cough and if the father of of the child knew a man that had a white horse and if he asked the man what would he give to a child that had the whooping cough
