    evicted. Lord Stradbrook was by no means popular with the tenants. To some of the people who were evicted in Lord Ashtown's time other land was given back in some cases.
    One Landlord brought the land from another. In Stradbrook's time the Landlord had great power the people.
    During Stradbrook's time much injustice was done. When the lease was out if the Landlord or the agent took any dislike to the tenant he would be thrown out on the roadside although he was able and willing to pay the rent.
