  1. the names of theweeds that injure the alnd are, Buchalam, thistle, dog root, parshough, chicken weed, fle, nettle, switch grass and rushes. All those weeds injure the crops. They grow both in good land and good land.
    Nettles are given as food to young turkeys. Buchalam boiled in milk cures certain skin diseases. The root of a dog root boiled in milk cures stomach trouble.
    There is a round leaf growing on the fence called the penny leaf. It cures a cut, the coarse side to draw and the fine side to heal.
