    Co Monaghan has the cure for whittlo. This is the way she performs it. Boil the green of elder and some oatenmeal, thus making a first drawing poultice. The healing one is made with the white of an egg and flour. All are mixed together and put on as a poultice.
    Mrs Hanratty, Ballycartan. Magheracloone, Kingscourt, Co Cavan has a cure for a sprain. Johnnie Mc Cullagh, Derrynascobe, Magheracloone, Kingscourt, Co Cavan has the cure for an overlook.
