    Boxty bread:- Boxty bread was made from raw potatoes and flour, and when mixed it was like starch.
    Bear-bread:- was made on special occasions when other bread was scarce. The bear was a grain, something like rye, and looked black when baked.
    Barley bread:- Barley bread was made with barley mixed in water.
    The most local name for a cake is a "Bonnack"
