- The old graveyards.
There are three graveyards in our parish. The names are - St Peters, St Patricks and the protestant. Upper Magheracloone graveyard is situated in Carrickasedge. Lower Magheracloone one is situated in Drumgossatt and the protestant graveyard is situated in Drummond. All are still in use. There are no ruins of old churches in any of them. Lower Magheracloone churchyard slopes southward, upper slopes eastward and the protestant slopes westward.
There are an immense lot of palm trees growing in the catholic graveyards also some whitethorn trees. There are some palm trees and ash trees growing in the protestant graveyard. There are some very very old tomb stones, some crosses and some monuments(continues on next page)- Collector
