    girl sends a messanger to the girl's house. It is usual for the boy to send a bottle of whiskey with the messanger to treat the girl's friends. Then if the girl intends to marry and is satisfied, she points out a day on which they should meet in town to arrange about the marriage.
    Both the girl's and boy's parents meet in town and go in to a public house and start match
