    In olden times there were not many shops in the district as there are nowadays. People had to go long distances for their goods. Buying and selling were carried on after Mass. This custom is still practiced.
    Money was given in exchange for goods sometimes potatoes and oats were given in exchange for goods. A bag of meal was given
