    There is a flower garden in front of most of the houses and a vegetable garden at the back.
    The old white washed houses are kept very neat and tidy. There is a hall in the village where dances are held on winter nights. There is a hill in the village and if you stand on the top of this hill you have a good view of the village.
    There is a river in the village which separates it from Carrabawn.
