  1. Every farmer cultivates a crop of potatoes. He ploughs the land into ridges. He gets two horses and a plough and ploughs five lines of sods in each ridge and continues till the field is finished. When all the land is ploughed for the potatoes the farmer makes three holes across each ridge and leaves a foot between the holes.
