    would take off the shoes again in the same place.
    Some people wore clogs. The sole was made of wood and there was a piece of iron attached to it, the heel was made fitted with iron also. There are clogs sold in this still in Swinford. They are sold by Mr Frain Mr Eddy Henry, Kyles Hursts and Boland's.
    There are two clog factories in East Mayo, one in Castlebar and another in Sligo.
