    The farmers at present are very busy drawing home the turf. The turf is cut in the month of March. It is then left in the bog to dry. After three or four weeks it is first footed. When it is dry it is drawn home.
    The donkey is taken into the bog and the cart is put near the turf. Then the turf is thrown into the cart until the rail is full. It is then clamped and is ready for home.
    The bog is a mile from our house and it is with a donkey we bring home the turf. It is on the side of the road we make the rick of turf. When the turf is clamped the rick is thatched to prevent the rain from destroying the turf.
