- I got this story from my Grandfather.
There was once a man in Ireland. He was very poor. He had a dream three nights in succession that if he went to Newbridge in England he would get his fortune.
He went round to all the neighbours and gathered some money. The sum he gathered was ten pounds so he sailed for Newbridge. He stayed there for a week and he had the most of his money spent. On the seventh day a man met him at the bridge. He asked him had he a job there, the other man answered and said he had not but he said "I dreamt that I would get my fortune at Newbridge. "You foolish man you" said the stranger. I had a dream that in Ireland(continues on next page)- Collector
